National Learn to Row Day

Have you ever wanted to learn how to row? Come join Great Bay Rowing to celebrate the 20th Annual National Learn to Row Day! Open to people of all ages and abilities, this free event will give you the chance to check out our facilities, learn the basics of rowing and even get in a boat and feel what rowing is all about.

This event will run from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday, June 5th. To help maintain safe distancing, we ask that you register for a 1 hour time slot. During this time, coaches and athletes from Great Bay Rowing will give you a tour of our facilities, teach you the basics of the rowing stroke on the erg (rowing machine) and even get you in a boat to try out your skills. Participants of all ages are welcome – it is never too early or too late to start rowing! Great Bay Rowing is also fortunate to have adaptive equipment available, to give rowing access to people of all abilities.

Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers. You will be asked to sign a waiver as part of your check in. Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There is no cost to attend National Learn to Row Day.
