Requirements & Info for all Programs

 Programs require the following:

Junior Team

  1. GBR Swim Test  (if you have rowed for GBR we should have one on File)
  2. New GBR Medical Form
  3. A current Basic USRowing membership.   ($9.95) These are annual memberships.  Check your account online or with Sara to make sure your membership has  not expired and your waiver is signed.

Instructions for USRowing.

If you are from another school or club, you may bring a copy of their swim test. Your USRowing membership must be affiliated with GBR by using the code: 3N7EN.


Adult Annual Membership

  1. GBR Swim Test  or Release of Liability Swim Form for (+21) Masters. If you are currently a GBR member or have rowed with GBR, you may have one on file.  Please check with Sara.
  2. GBR Medical Form for the Summer Session
  3. A Current Basic USRowing Membership ($9.95) affiliated with GBR by using code 3N7EN.

Learn to Row Camps (one week or less):

  1. GBR Swim Test  OR  Release of Liability Swim Form for (+21) Masters
  2. GBR Medical Form
  3. A printed and signed 2017 USRowing Waiver

What Should I bring??

  • On the First day – your paperwork (med form, swim form, USrowing waiver or membership number)
  • Water (there is no potable water on site, so bring plenty to drink)
  • A snack
  • A change of clothes
  • Sunscreen.  Bug Spray
  • Sunglasses.  Hat
  • Easy Slip off shoes that can get wet, (slides, tevas, crocs)
  • Towel for cleaning up/drying off after practice

What should I wear?

  • Spandex/Compression pants or shorts – everything must be tight fitting in the boat
  • Tight fitting t-shirt or tank
  • Layers- Fleece or quick dry wicking materials – No cotton sweatshirts.
  • Socks that can get dirty (the boat has built in shoes – you’ll want to wear socks in these shoes)
  • Sneakers for warm up – these are not worn in the boat
  • Shoes that are easy and quick to take off – slides, crocs, flip flops

We row Rain or Shine.  However, if there is a chance of thunderstorms, we will act according to our safety protocols.  Check your email.  We will try to post on the Website as well.
